# The secret to journaling

As a life long keeper of a daily journal, I have experimented a great deal with what works best for writing a progressive journal that makes it easier for you to strategise your life. 

I didn’t become aware of the actual model for it, though, until I started facilitating professionally for organisations a little over ten years ago. 

I had done it intuitively until then, but the toolbox for this particular way of facilitating changed my attention. It resulted in a mental upgrade in my approach to journaling. 

The model is a true classic developed by the American boy scouts back in the day, and it’s great for getting an overview and understanding of any given situation both emotionally and mentally in order to prioritise and make qualified choices. 

I use it regularly when facilitating, but it also works well as a secret framework for journaling if you adapt it to that particular process.
